Many people might have been familiarized about the hormone testosterone and and how it relates to masculinity. For most, the acquaintance with the word may have started as early as grade school Biology when lessons on puberty were introduced. Even So, we don’t have much appreciation for this thing and what it does until we began reaching adulthood. We may have learned that testosterone is the hormone that defines who becomes men and who becomes women. But what other aspects of the human condition depend on this? Does the importance or purpose of testosterone stop past the pubertal stage? And why are testosterone-related drugs, like anabolic steroids or Daspartic acid supplements, ever so popular, if not controversial?
