Some of the best celebrated varieties of red wine is the Zinfandel. This variety of red grape is native in California and famous for its rich savor with hints of smell of raspberry. It grows in warm climate and in bunches. This sort matures early; nonetheless, inconsistent pattern in aging takes place. This is one disadvantage because the harvest will be one at a time instead of a single harvest for the whole batch. Also, because it grows in a tight crowd, there are instances that it succumbs to rot. One trait also of this Zinfandel wine is being “hot” in the palate because of its strong intoxicating content but it was now tamed by winemakers using new innovations. Zinfandel has this special feature also that kept its terrior or the characteristic that it inherits due to the geography where it is cultivated and the winemakers own unique style in manufacturing.
